The art camp was surely a great learning experience for both my children. For us this art camp coincided with the falling sick of my Mother in law who lives with us and my attention shifted from homeschooling to her health. In this difficult period this art camp was a sigh of relief when the engaged in activities mostly without my supervision.
For this credit goes all to Khansa Mashallah who monitored the progress from far. The good point about the camp were as follows
– varied activities
-loads of new things to learn.
-concept based introduction of new ideas like Analogous colours
-the camp was encouraging because it did not penalize for lack of work done and therefore respected pace in learning and individual learning abilities
Some points to improve on.
-The audio quality of the videos was sometimes not audible which hindered learning.
-some videos missed some parts which made it difficult for the kids to figure out the whole process on their own.
Besides these we all enjoyed a lot kids working on their art pieces while us enjoying their creations.
Thumbs up Khansa for the effort you put into producing this. All the best for future endeavors.
