Munira came into my life, when I was in excruciating emotional pain.
I knew for months that I needed help, I needed to pour my heart out to a professional empathetic person but one day when i felt I just couldn’t take it anymore and my mind and heart would explode into a thousand pieces, I opened my contact list and kept praying that I would find the number of the person who could help me. Munira’s name came in my mind and I called her, telling her I had to have a session immediately. At 11 o clock in the night she gave me my first session and that was the start of my life changing journey.
Munira was God sent I knew it when I first heard her voice. It was as if she knew me already, she knew how I felt and she had so much more to give than just empathy and understanding. Truthfully I never knew that people like Munira existed. She opened the door to a world I had never seen.
After that Munira was there for me in my lowest points. Patiently she heard me talk about the same things again and again. Asking the same questions and learning something new every time. I cannot describe in words how Munira touched my life. Since I have met her three months ago she has taught me trained me like none other. She has achieved what no other psychologist, psychotherapist, therapist or counselor has been able to do. She has raised my almost nil self esteem, she has made me self compassionate , she has made me discover my hidden talents, she has taught me assertive communication, creating boundaries, being independent and strong, she has taught me how to respect and empower myself.
She is so wise mash Allah. Whenever I discuss with her complicated situations, situations of which I feel there is no solution, her wisdom has amazed me.
I still have a long journey ahead but I am so thankful to Allah that Munira is with me along the way.
May Allah bless Munira and make her touch other people’s lives like she touched mine from the platform of PRC.
